Al's books are a "MUST READ" for all fishermen, check out this section for more details!

A lifelong resident of Southern Illinois, Al Nutty is best known as the original musky guide on Kinkaid Lake, but is equally adept at catching the region's other game fish. More comfortable outdoors than in, Al was part owner in a sporting goods store, a tournament angler, and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. & Canada in pursuit of big fish.

Well known as a guide for muskies, Al has spent the last 30 years pursuing big game fish in southern Illinois, he can lead you to some of the finest farm pond, strip pit, lake, and river fishing in Southern Illinois for bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, hybrid white bass, stripers, rainbow trout, walleye and catfish.

An accomplished seminar speaker and outdoor writer, Al was asked to join the Pro Staff of St. Croix rods and Smoker Tackle, along with the Field Staff of Mepps and Mister Twister. His print credits read like a “Who's Who” listing of fishing publications, with articles by or about him appearing in Outdoor Notebook; IL/IA Fish & Game Finder Magazine; Muskies, Inc.; Midwest Outdoors; Muskie Notes; Illinois Outdoors; The Chicago Tribune, The Kansas City Star, The Bloomington Pantagraph, and Southern Illinoisan newspapers, among others, and he's appeared on nearly a dozen TV and radio programs too!

Fish Sylvania By Russ Warye - A guide to fishing the Sylvania Tract in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Fish Sylvania was written to answer the clear water challenge of bass fishing in waters so transparent that the fish can see your boat 20 feet down.

Fish Sylvania was the first book to detail finesse plastic presentations, including pre-rig worms, finesse worms, and three-inch tubes. Several of the Sylvania and Tract lakes offer the epitome of smallmouth bass fishing. The ultimate challenge is that Sylvania rules require artificial lures only - No Live Bait is allowed!
